Muffins everywhere..

Tomorrow is Muffins for Moms.. lucky for me I can bake.. and even luckier.. I only have 9 students.. so I didnt need to make a million, yet I still made wayyy too many.. They came out great and I am soon going to package them into cute bags.. and then get to bed. I have been a blog slacker.. I am so tired these days.. a little stressed with work.. and just been keeping busy.. not that I dont think of the blog.. just dont have time for it some days. I still have alot of pics from San Antonio to post.. ill get to that later..

I am excited that tomorrow is Friday..not for a particular reason.. just because its a few days off.. to hopefully gather thoughts and rest.. whoohooo

Im tired.. the weekend wore me out..

I talked about my blog all weekend and took alot of pics..

The closest Javelina out of town game.. to date.. We make the trip no matter the distance most of the time.. but today it will be nice to know about 2 hours down the road we will already be there..

Ready to see a win.... another win.. tonight is a big game for some guys who have waited patiently to get their shot.. cant wait to see them step up and fill shoes no problem.. 2nd, 3rd , 4th string.. does not matter.. your ready!

They did it again... The badgers got a win.. and the leatehernecks.. ( the other team) got a beating.. pretty much what was expected to happen .. DID..

Like most home games .. I sat with the Willie Family.. Ill admit,when we get together we talk more than we watch the game... but we always have a good time.. I am posting tonight a picture of my favorite fan in the stands.. she is so funny and so innocent. I love to be around her because she is in no hurry to grow up and it is so refreshing. In a world where most girls her age, want sooo bad to be years older.. she is happy right where she is at, 10 yeard old!

In the three years Ive known Andre.. I learned alot of what I know about him, by watching him with her.. the biggest lesson.. If Andre kisses you on the forehead, Its because he loves you, and let me tell you .. this little girl gets kissed on the forehead alot. Yes.. and me too :)

Football Friday.. In a few hours I will be heading out to see the Ben Bolt Badgers kick some MMA booty.. but before then I am finishing up a Sopapilla Cheesecake for Andres co workers..
Back story..
Today was Terry's birthday.. we work together.. she requested this for her birthday "cake" so last night I made her one, but I had a bit of filing left over and once can of crescent rolls, so I made a small one also..
Today Andre made a comment that the snacks I gave him the other night, he shared with the other coaches and one of them mentioned.. something along the lines of.. If he married me, he would be like 800 lbs cause I buy bad snacks. NOT TRUE.. these were free snacks.. and who better to give them to , than a man who works with hundreds of kids a day and at least 15 hungry men.. and to top that off he has a 10 year old sister.. so when i gave him these snacks they were not for HIM they were for him to share..plus who ya calling fat as you stuff your face with said above snacks.. duhh.. ok catch my drift..

The rest of the story is how I think it went.. Andre did not give me these details.. but for the stories sake .. i will add some dialog.

Andre: Damnnn Sara can cook.. she makes this desert, that is sooo good its like crack
Coach 1: no shit.. what is it
Andre: Its some sopapilla cheesecake thing, cream cheese, crescent rolls.. I dont know.. all i know is that its bad ass
Coach 1: shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit that sounds good.
Coach 2: well are you just gonna talk about it or are we going to get to try it one day.
Andre: yeah yeah ill get yall some
Coach: you better F**ker
Andre: yeah yeah fat ass

So I told Andre.. funny.. i have one at home.. and i was not sure what I was going to do with it.. ill give it to you.. so he agreed and said they ( the coaches) could eat it tomorrow morning when they are up at the school for practice..
so lonnnnng story short... I am making a new one.. a big one.. not trying to toot my own horn.. but this stuff really is good.. so ME BEING ME.. I wanted to have enough.. so thats what I am doing now.. it smells so yummy in here.. I will let it cool.. then I will take it with me to the game tonight.. so they can have a delicious breakfast!
Did I ever mention that I love that Ben Bolts colors are blue and white.. Just makes getting dressed easier.. I would HATE if they had a random color like purple.. just a thought..
ill update later.. possibly with a pic of the cheesecake.. althougth I feel like a piggy when i post food pics on this blog.. haha

I'M AWFUL!

I didn't post a picture for yesterday.. so here i am again.. posting the next day.. tonight I will post number 14 to catch me up.

This picture if of the most popular book in my class at the moment .. I have one student who loves animals.. and bugs and weird yucky things like that.. and I have 8 other students who are copy cats.. and although they are not "into" the bugs and animals.. they pretend to be so they can fight over the books.

I know I do not have kids of my own.. but I feel like a mom most of the day.. saying give that back, or its not your turn, be nice to your friends.. ..

ahhh

I saw the cutiest thing today when I was about to leave from my second job.. I love to say second job to make myself sound really over achiever.. hah.. anyway when I looked out of the window.. there were tinnie weenie football players in the field behind my campus.. SO PRECIOUS.. I love me a grown football player.. but I will admit I am now in love with mini football players.. little helmets .. tiny pads.. kinda like bobble heads.. but so so cute..
I posted the pic of the mini's as my number 12 but I threw in another pic.. of what these mini's will be before their parents even know it.. highschool boys.. so hold tight to your little men.. they are so cute.. and i am sure far more talented than they even know..

I love this place..

I love football season in Kingsville..

and I love that I live on Santa Gertrudis.. because the university is the view I have when driving home every day..

Today when driving back from dinner.. I gasped.. YEAHH blue lights.. I think those were my exact words.. then I said pleasee can we stop.. I need a picture for my blog :)

I have not mastered taking pictures at night with my fancy camera.. there are alot of settings.. so I snapped like 20 pics.. and finally gave up.. I figured I got at least one decent one.. Hopefully by picture 100 I have a little more skills :)

The university turns on the bell tower lights when the Javelinas win a game.. for football they turn them on after every win.. ( although they didnt for the first two wins.. i assume its cause they were out of town games.. either way.. they need to work on being consistant. ha) So when I see a blue glow.. I get super excited.. its just a neat tradition..

So tonight this pretty blue glow is my number 11

Thanks Javelinas for lighting up the sky.. keep it up.. hopefully the blue lights stay on till way past December.

I am an enabler.. I am a people pleaser.. if I know what you like, more than likely you will get it from me.. ill buy, bake, cook, find what you want.. because thats me...

So tonight I am posting a picture of a purchase I made today.. Many say and I agree that Dr. Pepper is a carb monster.. its a fat maker and its a sugar pot.. I personally dont care for it.. but I know TONS of people who do, one being Andre.. I buy Dr.Pepper because he likes it.. but when I have it in my fridge he always gives me a hard time and tells me that if I didnt have them , then he might loose some weight....

So when at HEB today I made the decision to no longer be an enabler.. so I bought

Diet Dr.Pepper.... not sure its the best choice.. but its a change.. and now I can no longer catch hell.. never fear.. in case he isnt in a Dr.Pepper mood.. I have Fresca, orange juice and cranberry juice... Like I said.. IM A PLEASER.. Ive got options..

Just in the nick of time.. Today was game day.. so Im home late and I am dog tired.. but WE WON.. and it was great.. and WET.... it rained most of the day.. and most of the game.. I made the best purchase of my life and got a big yellow rain jacket... it saved me..

My pictures tonight have a small back story.. a tradition at A&M Kingsville has always been to throw torillas after a touchdown, this was banned by the president this year, because people in the past have abused it and did awful things like freeze them and throw them directly at people.I will admit I was sad about the banning of the tortillas.. So tonight I was actually excited to see people going against the ban and throw them anyway.. I snapped a great picture of a soaking wet football program with a tortilla lying right on top.. I could not resist the urge to snap the picture as i walked by,

But soon I was sooooo disappointed in the fans at Javelina stadium tonight.. They started the stupidity game and were wadding them up and throwing them at the wrong times, a few times hitting the players.. so that is when I decided that the ban is a good thing, we do not need to be hitting our own players.. seriously have some respect...

my message to the fans that threw the tortillas:

Dear In the stands quarterback,





you came to the game, spent at the least 5 bucks to get in, sat through pouring rain to cheer on what I assume is either where you went to school, go to school or know someone who does.. yet you choose to aim a tortilla directly at a player you are there to watch... AND YOU wonder and complain ( im sure) why our traditions are taken from us... please either have some respect or stay home..

YUMMY.. Let me start by saying that I have been lactose intolerant since I was about 21. I would always get sick after eating dairy and finally figured out, with the help of a doctor that I was lactose intolerant, very sad news! fast forward to this summer.. I was visiting my grandmother and it was my cousins birthday, and there is was a gallon of cookies and cream bluebell, I wanted some sooooo bad, so I did.. and GUESS WHAT.. I didnt get sick.. so slowly since then Ive allowed myself some dairy, and so far so good.

So tonight picture is of my new love, Skinny cow ice cream in a tiny 5oz size.. just the perfect size for me. If you have not tried it.. do it .. its yummy..

I am domestic.. I can cook.. and up until today I thought I was best at baking.. BUT Today I had a baking disaster. I made dinner and I asked Andre in advance what he wanted for dessert and he requested one of his favorites, Pecan Pie. I searched for what I would consider the best recipe.bought all the supplies and was actually looking forward to the raving reviews. Don't let the picture fool you.. it looks beautiful but is mush on the inside, it didn't set up correctly.. sooo it was a dessert-less night for us :( we didn't even bother cutting it, maybe after sitting in the fridge overnight it will do what its supposed to .. who knows .. either way.. I felt like a failure..

But on the bright side.. My main dish was a hit and was delicious ..

Maybe the dessert screwing up was a sign.. NO MORE SUGAR :) hahah

I was waiting in the HEB checkout and I was amazed to find out that the mothers of teen mom are "famous" .. famous enough for magazine covers... seriously.. and the story is not about anything important.. so yes I whipped out my camera right there at the store.. cause this was just picture worthy.. for being plain out dumb..

Thanks MTV for glorifying teen pregnancy and for making these women famous... we have you to thank ... become a teacher of small children and you too will be annoyed.

I am loving trying to decide who or what gets the honor of being my daily picture. I was still unsure all day.. Until dinner time.. This cutie pie came to dinner with her equally as cutie pie parents.. SO world meet Adelyn .. the daughter of proud parents Mira and Gabe.. She loves tomatoes and dancing.. if you ask she will tell you she is three.. ( really just one). Thank you for the dinner time fun and the small scare when you stuffed too many tomatoes in your mouth and choked..

This picture is of my very loved fish Casimero Lechuga Vallejo, he is my beautiful beta and the only roommate I have .. For a fish he has a great personality.. he minds his own business and never gets mad when I dont change his water.. As you can tell .. it could use a change right now.. but sorry casi.. maybe tomorrow.. alot of you know about him, but have never met him.. so here he is.. Im sure he loves that he is famous now.. online :) and YES.. he is blue and yellow.. would you expect anything else ?

We got home too late last night for me to post my number two.. so today I will have numbers 2 and three to post.. whoohoo..

Andre and I went to El Campo yesterday to suprise my grandmother for her birthday. It was so much fun, I love El Campo.. and I love birthdays.. so perfect :)

Andre's new truck made the drive so comfortable.. We made the must need stop at praseks.. and walked out of there spending somewhere around $ 75.00.. but I got my sugar cookie.. soo yummy..

At grandmas we had dinner and cake with alot of family, it was nice to see everyone .. we then decided to get out old pictures and we all had good laughs.. all in all it was a great decision we made to go up there.. Grandma was very happy, she loves a house full.. and a house full she got !
